Why I wrote Fearless in 5 for you
When I started my career, I was full of hope, ambition, and excitement. I believed that if I worked hard, delivered great results, and treated people well, everything else would take care of itself. Recognition would come. Opportunities would appear. Promotions would follow.
But as I climbed the corporate ladder, I realized something important: hard work alone isn't enough. Especially, as a woman.
Over time, I began to see that my experience wasn't unique. I met brilliant, talented people—especially women and emerging leaders—who were facing the same challenges. They had incredible ideas, enormous potential, and a genuine desire to make an impact. Yet too many were holding back, doubting themselves, struggling to navigate workplace politics, or trying to figure everything out alone. That realization sent me on a mission.
Along the way, I lost confidence. I questioned myself. I struggled to advocate for what I wanted and deserved. I worried about asking for help because I thought it would make me look less capable.
I wanted to feel like a strong warrior, but when I looked in the mirror, I saw a little girl.
Like so many high achievers, I became my own biggest obstacle. To prove my worth, I worked harder than everyone else (and burned myself out over and over in the process). I often felt like a fraud or that I was faking it at work. I waited for my hard work to speak for itself. I assumed others would notice my contributions. I thought if I just kept my head down and worked harder, everything would work out. It didn't.
For years, I studied what helps people move forward despite fear. I conducted research, interviewed experts, coached leaders, and learned from thousands of professionals around the world by gathering and analyzing audience data in my global workshops. Through that work, I uncovered what I call the Fearless Fundamentals: Confidence, Communication, Connection, Control, and Courage. These are the skills that help people stop waiting and start advocating. Stop second-guessing and start speaking up. Stop going it alone and start building the relationships, support systems, and opportunities that change careers—and lives.
My heart breaks when I see talented people dim their own light because they don't recognize their value. It frustrates me when I see capable professionals overlooked for opportunities simply because no one taught them how to navigate the unwritten rules of success. That's why I wrote Fearless in 5.
I wrote this book for the person I once was. The one with big dreams, great ideas, and endless potential—but who needed a roadmap. The one who wanted to contribute, lead, earn, and achieve more, but wasn't always sure how.
My goal is simple: to help you get where you're going faster, with fewer detours, fewer self-imposed limitations, and far more confidence. This book is packed with practical tools, research-backed strategies, and real-world lessons designed to help you build a career—and a life—you love.
Let's unleash that fearless warrior within

My promise is that Fearless in 5 will help you avoid some of the mistakes many of us learned the hard way, so you can spend less time doubting yourself and more time becoming the person you're meant to be.
If any part of this story feels familiar--if you've ever questioned yourself, played small, felt overlooked, or wondered what more might be possible for you--then this book is for you. I'd be honored to join you on your journey toward becoming more confident, connected, courageous, and fearless in every area of your life.
